U.S. Pension Risk Transfer 2022 Mid-Year Update

The momentum from 2021 carried into 2022 with a record first half of the year. There was an increase in the number of lift-outs, plan terminations, and buy-ins in the first half of 2022 compared to 2021. Aon advised (settlors and independent fiduciaries) on nearly two-thirds of the premium transferred over the last 18 months.
