The first quarter 2022 update of the Aon Property Market Dynamics report includes a review of current property market rate and trends.
Utilizing Aon data, Aon’s Property Market Dynamics Report captures the state of the insurance industry with a focus on changes in rates, limits, deductibles/retentions, coverage, capacity and losses. In the Q12022 edition of the report, Aon found that rates slightly moderated during the last quarter of 2021with rates decreasing from an average of +8.8% to +7.49%. The report also found that new capacity is emerging as either new capital or expanded capacity with some existing insurers. New to the report, we examine average property rate increases by industry sector, as well as general property market expectations for 2022.
