Flexibility and choice are themes that underpin conversations about total rewards today. They are the starting point for figuring out how to enable better employee health and financial security, connecting corporate values and rewards, as well as meeting ESG and DEI commitments without driving up costs – or at least with more significant control over those costs. And they help us think about benefits and compensation through the eyes of employees who want to be seen as people and not just workers.
